Author: Robin Lovelace
Environmental geographer who wants to save the world through numbers and appropriate technology.
I have previously been based in Bristol, Salamanca, York and most recently Sheffield to undertake a PhD in the energy costs of commuting, using a method called spatial microsimulation.
Started in Leeds in October 2013 to apply this method in combination with transport modelling, agent-based models and various techniques for visualisation and spatial analysis to a range of problems. I aim to harness my geographical powers for the greater good, but modelling how society can operate in a 'post carbon' world.
